Zagreb
Blessed Hosana Kotorska
The community consists of 34 sisters providing a kindergarten and taking care of old ladies. Some sisters teach at the catholic university (Theology, Music, Philosophy). Young sisters in formation from other communities come to stay in this house for some time because of their studies.
Some sisters work in hospitals as nurses. The sisters also lead fraternities of the Holy Rosary (prayer groups of "live Rosary") in several parishes. One part of the Croatian catholic radio broadcasting - Radio Maria - is guided by Sr. Slavka OP.
A lot of people come to this community to ask for spiritual help, to have someone to listen to them and help them solve their family problems, to ask for food or clothes, etc. The sisters try to assist them as best they can.
The sisters from this community also work in the parish as pastoral assistants – leading the church choir, assisting the priest, organising feasts, teaching catechism, preparing children for first communion.
In terms of age, the community is mixed – some of the sisters are younger and active, some are elderly and offer their prayers and sufferings for their sisters, the whole Dominican Order and all the needs of the Church.
Kolonia
A small community of three sisters assisting the community of Dominican brothers. They also work in the parish church.
Ranieni
There is a chapel in the centre of the city, highly visited by people. One sister lives here and takes care of the chapel, prepares for masses and listens to people who need spiritual help.
